[04-09-2023] El Dorado County, CA- Twelve People Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision near Pollock Pines

Twelve people were injured after a two-vehicle collision near Pollock Pines in El Dorado County on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

According to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District, the collision happened just before 12:15 p.m. on Highway 50, west of Bridal Veil Falls.

Medical personnel transported one patient via helicopter to a hospital in critical condition.

Four more people were taken in ambulances to local hospitals. Their current condition is stable.

Seven individuals who experienced minor injuries were released. Around 1:30 p.m., emergency personnel cleared the highway.

The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the collision.
