According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash happened around 5:44 p.m. along Highway 138 near 110th Street.

A big rig overturned and struck another vehicle leaving one person dead, four people with severe injuries, and one with minor injuries.

Authorities are still conducting an investigation into the crash.
