What to Do After a Truck Accident
Seek medical attention immediately. Any underlying damages that will not manifest until later can be discovered and treated right away.
Reporting incidents involving huge vehicles like trucks and big rigs to the proper authorities is a top priority. A police report must be made and filed.
It is crucial to be honest and make no assumptions while speaking with legal authorities or insurance companies. Do not accept any settlement without knowing all your options by speaking with a lawyer.
Even if the victim is fully blameless, the insurance company may refuse to pay if they try to make an apology. So avoid such behaviors.
You can receive a full copy of the report by contacting the proper authorities. The online form provided on this page is another option. We are unable to look into your claim without these details.
