[04-13-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – 68-Year-Old Woman Injured After Vehicle Goes Over Griffith Park Cliff

A 68-year-old woman was seriously injured after her vehicle went off the side of a cliff in Griffith Park on Wednesday morning, April 13, 2022.

According to the initial information from the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened at around 6:49 a.m. in Griffith Park.

The SUV drove into the cliff for unclear reasons and went down at approximately 300 feet. The 68-year-old woman was the only passenger at the time.

A helicopter was requested to the scene to airlift the woman to a nearby trauma center. Her condition and identity have not been disclosed.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
