[04-16-2022] Santa Barbara County, CA – Four People Injured in Head-On Crash Near Los Olivos

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Santa Barbara County on Saturday, April 16.

According to Capt. Daniel Bertucelli, the crash occurred at 10:51 p.m., approximately a half-mile northwest of Los Olivos.

Two vehicles, including a pickup truck and an SUV, reportedly collided head-on and injured four people.

One of the four people suffered serious injuries and was flown to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by a County Air Support Unit, while the other three were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.

According to Bertucelli, crews had to extricate the vehicle’s occupants, which took about 15 minutes.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
