The collision happened at approximately 1:25 p.m. near Highway 166 and Black Road in Santa Maria.

A Honda sedan and a Chevrolet taco truck collided head-on for unclear reasons. A Ford was also involved in the collision. The Ford sustained major damage in the mishap.

At least one person was injured in the mishap and was immediately treated by paramedics. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the accident.
