One person was killed and two others were seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash near Dinuba on Tuesday evening, April 22, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Road 96 and Avenue 412.
Authorities said the driver of a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Avenue 412 and entered the intersection.
Simultaneously, the driver of a northbound car on Road 96 reportedly failed to stop at a posted stop sign and struck the back left side of the pickup. The impact caused the pickup to overturn.
The driver of the car was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup and a passenger sustained major injuries and were transported for medical treatment.
CHP stated that alcohol or drugs do not appear to be contributing factors. The crash remains under investigation.
