One man was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Fresno County early morning Friday, April 29, 2022.
It happened just before 3:00 a.m. on Highway 33 between Coalinga and Avenal, north of Sutter Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol officers, a man was seen walking in the roadway near that location.
According to witnesses, a man was found injured in the roadway a short time later.
The driver reportedly left the scene after hitting the victim.
The man was flown to Community Regional Medical Center by medical helicopter for treatment.
His current condition has not been disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol has not released a description of the vehicle that hit him.
