A 31-year-old rider suffered severe injuries following a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in Lincoln Park, San Diego, on Saturday night, April 29, 2023.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a rider was riding a black 2009 Harley Davison traveling south on Euclid Avenue shortly after 8:00 p.m.
On the opposite side of the street, a 70-year-old man was driving a black 2005 Dodge Ram pickup truck and made a left-hand turn in the middle of the road, directly into the motorcycle’s path.
The rider lost control of the motorcycle, crashed 40 feet, and collided with the truck’s right-side panel.
The rider was taken to the hospital with a collapsed lung, a broken left femur, and pelvic injuries.
The authorities have not yet released any further information.
