[05-07-2022] Orange County, CA – Woman Dies After Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Anaheim

A woman died after a fatal two-vehicle collision with boyfriend’s car in Anaheim early Saturday morning, May 7, 2022.

According to Orange Police spokesman Sgt. Phil McMullin, the fatal crash occurred at 5:45 a.m. in East Santa Ana Canyon Road at North Orange Olive Road.

According to McMullin, the couple had argued at their home in the 400 block of North Tustin Avenue before the man got into his car and drove westbound on Santa Ana Canyon. The woman followed with her car.

McMullin added, as they approached Orange Olive, the woman rear-ended the man’s car where the roadway makes a right turn before the intersection.

The woman’s car hit a raised median, causing it to roll over, and she was ejected.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The man suffered minor injuries.

He told police he believed the woman intentionally rammed his car.

No additional information was available.

The authorities are still investigating the crash.
