A 23-year-old rider was killed following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, on Saturday afternoon, May 11, 2024.
According to the responding officials, the crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Oxnard Street near Varner Avenue.
Authorities stated the collision involved a motorcycle and a white, four-door sedan. The rider sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he later died. His identity is yet to be disclosed pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
