[05-16-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Two People Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Sunland-Tujunga Area

The two people that were killed following a deadly semi-truck crsh in the Tujunga area last May 16, 2022 has been identified.

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, the two men killed in the fatal crash were 51-year-old Modesto T. and 40-year-ol Thomas O.

Local authorities are still actively investigating the cause of the collision.

According to authorities, two people were killed when their vehicle collided with the back of a semi-trailer truck on the westbound 210 Freeway on Monday afternoon, May 16, 2022.

The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the crash shortly before 5:00 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway in the Sunland-Tujunga area.

According to authorities, two people in the vehicle died after crashing into the back of the truck.

The truck’s driver escaped injury.

The vehicle’s front end was seen underneath the trailer near the La Tuna Canyon Road exit in footage from the crash.

CHP later reopened some lanes.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
