Three individuals were severely injured in a single-vehicle crash in Covina on Thursday morning, May 18, 2023.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident occurred before 3:00 a.m. at East Covina Hills Road and South Chaparral Road.
According to the report, two people were trapped inside the wreckage, while another person was thrown from the vehicle following the collision.
Emergency responders managed to rescue the trapped individuals safely, and all three were taken to Pomona Valley Hospital. Two of them are currently in critical condition, while the situation of the third person remains unknown.
The specific details of the crash, such as whether the vehicle ended up in a creek or on a dirt road, have not been disclosed by the Covina PD.
