[05-18-2023] 62-Year-Old Woman Killed After Vehicle vs. Big Rig Rear-End Collision in MenifeeA 62-year-old woman identified as Lim P. was killed following a two-vehicle rear-end collision involving a big rig in Menifee on Thursday evening, May 18, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was injured shortly before 10:00 p.m. on northbound Interstate 215 at Scott Road when her vehicle rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived quickly and extricated the victim from the wreckage, but she was declared dead at the scene. Officials added that the truck driver was unharmed.

Due to the fatal collision, all lanes on the northbound freeway were closed for over three hours.

No further details were released, and anyone with information was asked to contact the authorities.
