[05-18-2023] San Diego County, CA – Two People Hospitalized After North Park Apartment Fire Caused by Scooter

Two people were hospitalized after an apartment fire caused by a scooter in North Park, San Diego, on Thursday evening, May 18, 2023.

According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the fire started around 10:00 p.m. in the 4000 block of Idaho Street.

A scooter sparked a fire inside the apartment, causing burn injuries to a woman while a man sustained injuries from inhaling smoke.
