Three people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash in Irvine on Friday afternoon, May 19, 2023.
According to the Irvine Police Department, the crash involved four cars and occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Jamboree Road at the Main Street intersection.
Authorities claimed that a white SUV that rolled onto its side sustained the most severe damage. Three additional vehicles had rear-end damage. After the crash, three people were sent to the hospital.
Firefighters from the Orange County Fire Department had to extricate two people from their cars, and it was unknown how seriously the victims were hurt.
Jamboree Road was blocked southbound between Kelvin Avenue and Main Street for almost two hours.
No other information about the crash or the victims was made public. The investigation is ongoing.
