Three people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Montecito, Santa Barbara County, on Monday afternoon, May 22, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:56 p.m. along northbound Highway 101, close to Sheffield Drive.
Eight vehicles were involved, and the other three blocked a lane on Highway 101.
At least three people reportedly sustained minor injuries. Other people with possible injuries have not been determined.
The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
