[05-23-2026] Fresno County, CA – Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Collision with Suspected DUI Driver Near Ashlan and Bond Ave.

A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a collision involving a suspected DUI driver in Fresno on Saturday night, May 23, 2026.

According to Fresno Police, officers responded just before 9:30 p.m. to the incident near Ashlan and Bond avenues.

Upon arrival, authorities found the rider lying on the sidewalk. Emergency personnel rendered aid, and the motorcyclist, who was conscious but unresponsive to officers, was transported to a local hospital. His condition has not been disclosed.

Officials said the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Ashlan Avenue approaching Bond Avenue when a vehicle made a left-hand turn in front of him, causing the collision.

The driver of the vehicle was detained at the scene and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Officials continue to investigate the incident.
