Two people were injured following a single-vehicle crash near Piercy, Mendocino County, on Saturday evening, May 27, 2023.
According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, at roughly 7:07 p.m., a pick-up truck with its side came to rest on Highway 101/Piercy’s northbound off-ramp, where it was believed to be smoking.
Authorities stated that two occupants were reportedly injured, and an air ambulance was requested, landed at the Piercy post office, and intercepted the patients.
It is unknown what caused the crash and the identities of those involved. There were no further details released, and the authorities are currently investigating.
