[06-01-2022] Butte County, CA - One Person Killed Following a Deadly Head-On Crash in ChicoAt least one person was killed following a deadly head-on traffic crash in Chico on Wednesday evening, June 1, 2022.

The fatal traffic collision took place at Highway 32 and Meridian Road in Chico at approximately 5:30 p.m.

One person was traveling westbound on Highway 32 when it collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle. Details about the collision are limited at the moment.

Unfortunately, one person was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
