An unidentified pedestrian suffered injuries after a hit-and-run crash in Indio on Sunday evening, June 4, 2023.
According to the Indio Police Department, the crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. on King Street and Saidy Avenue.
Authorities said the vehicle reportedly hit a pedestrian and dragged a shopping cart. Officials added that the severity of the pedestrian’s injuries remains unknown.
Police describe the suspect vehicle as a newer model Toyota Tacoma access cab with black running boards. There should be front-end damage consistent from colliding with the victim and a shopping cart.
