A 77-year-old man was identified as Robert Polino A., while two others were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Westminster on Tuesday morning, June 7, 2022.
The deadly collision transpired at approximately 5:35 a.m. in the 14500 block of Goldenwest Street in Westminster.
A Westminster crossing guard collided with another vehicle for unclear reasons. The crossing guard was not on duty at the time of the accident.
Unfortunately, the Westminster crossing guard could not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the other vehicle’s driver and a passenger inside the crossing guard’s car were taken to UC Irvine Medical Center for treatment.
