[06-12-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Six People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Covina

Six people, including children, were injured in a serious two-vehicle crash in Covina early Sunday morning, June 12, 2022.

The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Cypress Street and Barranca Avenue.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, six people were taken to the hospital, four of whom were in critical condition.

Although no information about the victims, including their ages, was released right away, a video obtained by local news showed a young boy being treated on the scene.

According to one witness, three young children were present at the scene.

The witness ran through the park after hearing a big bang, and her son tried to bust the window open to get the kids out because the car was smoking.

They were able to get one boy out.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
