One person was killed, and a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a three-vehicle crash in Tulare County early Saturday morning, June 14, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on Road 140, south of Avenue 266.
CHP officers said a man driving a 2019 Honda Civic was heading northbound on Road 140 when he veered into the southbound lane. The Honda first struck the left side of a 2024 Toyota Corolla traveling southbound and then collided head-on with a 2022 Nissan Altima that was behind the Toyota.
The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed the Toyota driver was not injured, while the Honda driver sustained minor injuries. The man driving the Honda was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The CHPโVisalia area is continuing to investigate the crash.
