[06-16-2022] Riverside County, CA - Two People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in SageOne driver was seriously injured after a crash between an SUV and a school bus at a Sage intersection on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. at Sage and Wilson Valley roads, just over two miles north of Highway 79.

According to the CHP, the black SUV and school bus, which the driver only occupied, collided at the intersection. The circumstances are still unclear.

Shortly after arriving, Riverside County Fire Department crews discovered the SUV driver and another party injured. Local authorities have not yet disclosed their identities.

According to the CHP, the driver was airlifted to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment of a broken right leg and other injuries.

According to reports, the second victim had minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital.
