[06-17-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Male Motorcyclist, Female Passenger Injured After Crashing Over Debris in Long Beach

A male motorcyclist and his female passenger were injured after crashing in Long Beach on Saturday evening, June 17, 2023.

According to Long Beach Police Department Lt. Michael D., the incident occurred on the Sixth Street off-ramp from the southbound Long Beach Freeway at around 8:20 p.m.

The motorcyclist crashed after riding over debris left by another vehicle that struck the barricade barrels on the freeway.

The pair sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

There was no information regarding the identities of the pair.

CHP officer Lt. Michael D. said alcohol may have been a factor in the vehicle’s collision with the barricade barrels.
