According to the California Highway Patrol, a 52-year-old motorcyclist identified as Jay W. was seriously injured after a collision in Yountville on Monday morning, June 21, 2022.
According to a news release from the CHP’s Napa bureau, the collision occurred at 4:30 on Highway 29 near the intersection with Madison Street.
He was transported to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center by an American Medical Response ambulance.
According to the highway patrol, Wade was traveling south on 29 on his 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle as a 2013 Dodge entered the left-turn lane into a westbound Madison Street.
Wade’s motorcycle collided with the right front area of the Dodge as the Dodge’s driver saw the green light and started to turn left. Wade failed to stop at a red light.
According to CHP, the Dodge driver, a 40-year-old Napa man, was not injured in the collision and received no charges or citations.
