[07-03-2023] Male Motorcyclist Killed Following Hit-And-Run Collision in Sun ValleyA male motorcyclist was killed following a hit-and-run crash in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, early Monday morning, July 3, 2023.

At around 12:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving a motorcycle on the northbound 170 Freeway at Roscoe Boulevard.

Authorities reported that when firefighters arrived at the scene, they discovered a male motorcyclist and immediately declared him dead at the scene.

The CHP was searching for a white crossover-style SUV involved in the crash that did not remain at the scene. Officials also stated that they received a report from a party stating that the car had stopped at the gas station on Roscoe Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon Avenue about an hour after the traffic collision.

No further details were released, and anyone with the information is encouraged to contact the authorities immediately.
