[07-06-2022] Stanislaus County, CA - Unidentified Man Killed In Hit-And-Run At Modesto IntersectionAccording to Modesto police, a man was killed by a hit-and-run driver on Standiford Avenue late Wednesday night, July 6, 2022.

According to Modesto police, the collision occurred just before 11:00 p.m., officers got a report of a person down in the roadway at the intersection of McHenry and Standiford Avenues.

Officers arrived on the scene to discover a male victim who appeared to have been run over by a vehicle.

According to the police, it was soon determined that the man had passed away at the scene.

At this point in time, his name has not been made public.

It was determined that there was no information about the possible vehicle that struck the man.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
