A car crash into a coffee shop injured two in Cupertino on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office deputies, the crash occurred Thursday afternoon at a Starbucks in Cupertino.
The Sheriff’s Office tweeted a picture of a dark blue BMW partially inside the coffee shop, surrounded by broken glass and some furniture on its side.
The car is completely visible inside the establishment in a second picture.
Two onlookers who were inside Starbucks were taken to a hospital.
The driver, who sustained no injuries, is currently assisting the police.
The crash remains under investigation.
