[07-07-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash in Long Beach Escalated to Hit-and-Run and Shooting Incident, One Man Hospitalized

One man was injured after a two-vehicle crash escalated to a hit-and-run and shooting incident in Long Beach on Friday morning, July 7, 2023.

The local authorities responded to the accident near 60th Street and Atlantic Avenue in North Long Beach around 6:00 a.m.

The man traveling with his car got involved in a collision with another vehicle. After the impact, the man exited his vehicle. Then, he was struck again by the other vehicle’s driver and shot.

Minor injuries were sustained by the unidentified victim, who was transported to a local hospital. The suspect’s identity and vehicle information have not yet been determined.

The authorities investigating the case are looking for possible video evidence as the search for the suspect continues.
