[07-12-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Women Assaulted in Home Depot at Marina del Rey

A woman claims she and her friend were assaulted after a customer requested six feet of social distance at a Home Depot store on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at the self-checkout counter of a Home Depot store in Marina del Rey.

One of the victims, Kaila, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed that she and a friend were in line behind a man and a woman.

According to Kaila, the woman requested six feet of space from her and her friend.

The woman allegedly asked the two friends if they had something to say after they reportedly turned away from her.
Then, according to the woman, Kaila was punched in the head while being held by her hair.

She was trying to get to me a few more times, so it took a few people to pull it off, said Kaila.
Kaila started making police calls.

The woman ran back inside and attacked her friend before finally leaving for good.

Kaila’s friend was trying to call for help and asked anyone nearby to help us when the other woman started moving toward the exit.

Kaila sent several images of her wounds, which included scratches on her neck and arm.
Local authorities are still investigating the assault.
