According to the local authorities, the collision occurred at Pentland Street and Rosemead Boulevard shortly after 10:00 p.m.

The report stated the man was in the crosswalk when a car heading south hit him. Tragically, paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity remains unknown.

Witnesses told deputies the car was a silver sedan, possibly a Mercedes-Benz.
