[08-01-2023] Motorcyclist Fatally Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle on Beverly Boulevard and La Brea AvenueA motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, August 1, 2023.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the accident at Beverly Boulevard and La Brea Avenue intersection around 8:55 a.m.

According to the preliminary investigation, an eastbound Tesla turning left from Beverly Boulevard onto La Brea Avenue struck a motorcyclist traveling west on Beverly.

The paramedics administered life-saving treatment to the motorcyclist. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the accident.

No disclosure of the identities of the people involved was released.

Alcohol or drug impairment was not considered to contribute to the crash, and the other driver was not arrested or cited, as the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division continues to investigate.
