[08-01-2025] Riverside County, CA โ€“ Seven Injured in Four-Vehicle Collision on E. Vista Chino in Palm Springs

Seven people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Palm Springs on Friday evening, August 1, 2025.

According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of E. Vista Chino and N. Gene Autry Trail. Eastbound E. Vista Chino was closed from Gene Autry Trail to Via Roberto Miguel while authorities responded to the scene.

Four vehicles were involved in the collision and were towed from the area. Palm Springs Fire personnel evaluated multiple people for injuries, and seven individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Police confirmed that one of the drivers was found to be intoxicated and was cited for driving under the influence.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
