[08-02-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Two-Vehicle Head-On Collision Results to Injuries on Placerita Canyon Road

According to the Emergency Personnel, two people were injured in a two-vehicle head-on collision in the Angeles National Forest Tuesday evening, August 2, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash transpired at approximately 5:53 p.m. on Placerita Canyon Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved in the head-on collision is a Ford F-150 and a Kia Sportage.

According to CHP officers, the driver of the Ford F-150 was moving east on Placerita Canyon Road when he struck the Kia Sportage.

After the head-on collision, an American Medical Response unit took the Kia Sportage’s driver and passenger to the trauma center of a nearby hospital.

CHP officers added that both vehicles had significant damage.

Investigations into the crash’s cause are ongoing.
