[08-07-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – 63-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed Following Car Collision in Tracy

A 63-year-old motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a car in Tracy on Monday morning, August 7, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the intersection of South Lammers Road and Western Pacific Way at around 4:33 a.m.

An 18-year-old Tracy man driving a 2016 Ford was southbound on Lammers Road when he made a left turn onto Western Pacific Way, directly into the path of the 2012 Suzuki driven by the rider from Tracy on the northbound lanes, causing the older man to get ejected from his motorcycle.

The victim sustained major injuries and was brought to San Joaquin General Hospital. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending an investigation.

It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in this incident.
