One unidentified person was killed in a fatal multi-car collision involving a semi-truck in Burbank early Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

The crash occurred at around 8:20 a.m. on 5 Freeway in Burbank.

The collision reportedly caused hours of traffic delays as investigators examined the scene.

The presence of a significant amount of debris and gasoline spills on the road caused several lanes of the southbound 5 Freeway to be affected throughout the morning.
