The crash occurred at around 8:20 a.m. on 5 Freeway in Burbank.
The collision reportedly caused hours of traffic delays as investigators examined the scene.
The presence of a significant amount of debris and gasoline spills on the road caused several lanes of the southbound 5 Freeway to be affected throughout the morning.
The victim’s identity has not been disclosed while notifying the victim’s next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
