[08-10-2023] Sacramento County, CA – 27-Year-Old Male Motorcyclist Killed Following Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99

A 27-year-old male motorcyclist was killed after a multi-vehicle collision in Sacramento on Thursday evening, August 10, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place on the northbound lanes of Highway 99, south of 12th Avenue, at around 10:25 p.m.

It was reported that five vehicles were involved, including the motorcycle. The victim, Alexander V., was ejected from his motorcycle and struck by the other vehicles. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the collision.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported, and no DUI suspicions were raised.
