[08-13-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Female Bicyclist Injured Following Hit-and-Run Collision on Griffith Avenue, Suspect At Large

A female bicyclist was injured after a hit-and-run collision in south Los Angeles on Sunday morning, August 13, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred on 27th Street and Griffith Avenue around 3:45 a.m.

It was reported that a vehicle similar to a Scion XB or Nissan Cube struck a woman riding a motorized pocket bike. The LAPD also stated the vehicle may resemble a Kia Soul or Honda Element.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital with severe but, fortunately, non-life-threatening injuries. No information was released regarding the victim’s identity pending an investigation.
