[08-13-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – 37-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-and-Run Collision in Rialto, Suspect At Large

A 37-year-old pedestrian man was killed after a hit-and-run collision in Rialto on Sunday morning, August 13, 2023.

According to the Rialto Police Department, the incident occurred on Rialto Avenue, near Cactus Avenue, around 4:37 a.m.

An RPD officer was heading eastbound when they found DeAngelo B., a Fontana resident. Separate investigations were conducted by the California Highway Patrol and the RPD. The victim was struck and killed by at least one vehicle before the officer came across the victim.

Video evidence from nearby properties shows a vehicle on Rialto Avenue traveling eastbound toward the victim. The man was struck while walking in lanes of traffic.

The suspect is at large. Anyone with any information about this hit-and-run incident is encouraged to call the authorities.
