[08-29-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck on 118 Freeway

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a car struck and killed a man walking on the westbound 118 Freeway on Monday, August 29, 2022.

The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. near the Woodley Avenue on-ramp.

According to CHP, the car struck the man, struck a wall and a shoulder, and flipped over.

According to witnesses, the victim was dressed in all black.

The driver of the crashed car was able to call 911 for assistance, claiming he had possibly hit a body in the road.
