[09-03-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Single Vehicle Collision Results in Three Injuries on Highway 14

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a single-vehicle crash resulted in three people being transported to the hospital on Crown Valley Road Saturday, September 3, 2022.

According to Bernard Peters, supervising fire dispatcher for CHP, the crash occurred just after 9:40 p.m. on Highway 14 near the Crown Valley Road off-ramp.

At least one white Kia Optima vehicle was involved in the incident.

The call drew the attention of the California Highway Patrol and the California Fire Department.

At the time, the nature of the collision that led to the injuries sustained by the victims is unknown, as are the reasons for the crash and the circumstances surrounding it.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.

Single-Vehicle Crash Statistics

The Department of Transportation determines road speed limits based on various variables. California Vehicle Code 22350 states that it is unlawful for anyone to drive a car at a speed that endangers other people or property.
