[09-05-2022] Kern County, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision Leaves Two People with Severe Injuries in Southwest Bakersfield

According to the BPD, one person was left with severe injuries after a three-vehicle collision in Southwest Bakersfield Monday evening, September 5, 2022.

The crash occurred around 7:37 p.m. on Stine Road between Pacheco Road and District Boulevard.

According to police, they took the person with severe injuries to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, one of the involved vehicles’ adult male driver was taken to a local hospital and is currently in critical condition.

The department stated that speed may have been a factor at the time of posting and that it is unclear whether drugs and alcohol played a role.
