[09-07-2026] Alameda County, CA – 60-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Fremont

A 60-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Fremont early Monday morning, September 7, 2026.

According to the Fremont Police Department, officers responded to the incident around 4:15 a.m. in the area of Stevenson Boulevard west of Marietta Drive.

Police said the pedestrian was reportedly walking eastbound on Stevenson Boulevard near the center median when they were struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital, where they later died from their injuries. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police said drugs and alcohol were not believed to have been factors in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
