[09-10-2022] Orange County, CA – 9-Vehicle Collision Leaves at least One Critically Injured in Mission Viejo

At least one person is in critical condition following a nine-car collision on Saturday, September 10, 2022, in Mission Viejo.

According to Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Todd Hylton, deputies arrived at the scene shortly after noon, around 2 p.m., at Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road.

According to local authorities, five people were hurt in the collision, and two were taken to the hospital directly from the scene. One person was transported in critical condition.

The cause of the collision was being looked into.
