[09-10-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Car in San Jose

A woman riding a motorcycle died days after a collision with a car in San Jose on Thursday evening, September 10, 2026.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the crash occurred at around 7:33 p.m. at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Latimer Avenue.

Investigators said a woman driving a 2021 Audi Q5 southbound on Saratoga Avenue made a left turn at Latimer Avenue, crossing paths with the motorcyclist, who was traveling northbound on Saratoga Avenue on a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja.

The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital, where she was stabilized. Police said she died from her injuries on Saturday, September 12.

The Audi driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
