[09-13-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Unidentified Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car on Southland Freeway

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on the eastbound Foothill 210 Freeway in the La Canada Flintridge area Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred about 4:00 a.m. near Angeles Crest Highway.

There was a lack of information immediately available regarding the identity of the person who had been fatally injured.

During the investigation that was taking place in the area, three lanes heading eastbound were closed off.

According to the report made by the CHP, the driver stopped their vehicle, called the appropriate authorities, and remained at the scene.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
