[09-15-2022] Mother, Children Injured in Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash In East CountyA woman and her two young children were taken to the hospital following a rollover accident in El Cajon on Thursday, September 14, 2022.

According to El Cajon Police, a Volkswagen SUV collided, flipped over, and damaged a power line in the 1300 block of East Madison Avenue.

According to ABC10, the collision also wrecked a utility pole and utility cables.

The mother and her two children, aged two and six, were taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

According to San Diego Gas & Electric, at least 124 customers were affected by the incident, and electricity is expected to be restored by noon Thursday.

The investigation is still ongoing.
