Rollover Accident Statistics

A rollover accident is a vehicle collision that tips over onto its side or roof. Rollover accidents are particularly dangerous because they often result in severe injuries or even death. In fact, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rollover accidents are responsible for more than 10,000 deaths each year in the United States.

Several factors can contribute to a rollover accident, including speeding, driver error, and poor road conditions. However, one of the most important factors is vehicle design. Some vehicles are simply more likely to roll over than others. For example, SUVs and trucks have a higher center of gravity than passenger cars, which makes them more likely to tip over in a collision.

If you are involved in a rollover accident, stay inside the vehicle and call for help immediately.
It is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
